As you all may know we LOVE to talk about the growing culture of marijuana in today's society. The wonderful growers that help us keep that information stock piled would not able to do so without the legalization of marijuana in both the states of Colorado and Washington. So we would like to thank both of those states in advance for helping us further motivate the mid-west regions to legalize marijuana!
In the image above you see jars or both medical and recreational marijuana. All labeled to the strain. All doing something just a little bit different to both the mind and the body.
These jars are what looks to be a least a few weeks worth of weed for the dispensaries. You would think so... but no. Fellow growers have often told us on how they cannot keep up with the supply and demand of the dispensaries. Well now we have confirmed it.
Local dispensary owner and long time friend of mine Rick Bradly, the owner of "The Secret Stash" in Denver Colorado says "We have to have multiple growers to contact for product". Bradly then goes on to say that marijuana in Colorado is "Every wear but no-wear". Bradly states that it's not just the residents of Colorado, but the tourists that the legalization of marijuana has attracted as well. "People come from all around", Bradly says. "Sometime I see more out of state IDs in one day then I do in state ones", He states.
From both the growers perspective and the dispensaries perspective, the marijuana is not keeping up with the supply and demand ratios needed for the general public. The law for growing marijuana in colorado is 6 plants per residents. And no more then 6 pounds can be transported at one time or else it is still considered illegal. So the laws are in a way restricting the amount of marijuana one person can have. The dispensaries are their-for getting around this by going through multiple distributors. Rick also made comments on this subject matter as well... "It makes things harder", he says, "Sometimes one guy won't pull through so I'll quick have to go and call another. It gets to be a real hassle."
